its nice. i like it. im glad mitsu are going back to making the lancer similar to the evo in looks. changing the 04+ design was awful, it just looked like every other sedan. glad to see the lancers is gonna stand out from the crowd again

Damn that looks freaking good. A bit of a charger in the front mixed with Mazda6?

It's been showed for a while.

It's ok. Looks like a Mazda from the back, but more like a Lexus. The front reminds me of a Mirage. Just with a newer look.

157Hp is still a lil low for cars these days. DOHC is an upgrade

I think I will appreciate the EVO X better after seeing the base models you can see where it's going. The only problem is the rumor of the aluminum block i just hope it's a solid deck design.

157 isn't bad for the base model. that puts it squarely in competition with base civics, calibers, sentras, etc.

how much poke is the gts going to get though?

I wonder what new features mitsu gave its customers. Let's be realistic, civics with telescopic steering wheels and still under $14k ... Mitsu better have something good.

It's probably the same engine we found in the Dodge Caliber... Mitsubishi World engine. (3 engine on the Caliber, 1.8 2.0 and 2.4)

I don't like it. It sits too high and it looks frumpy. I want to see the engine.

That's fine if you are not a fan...but, crypto is saying it was a horrible decision on Mitsu's part? I see way more 04-06's on the road than 02-03's.

Nice! This proves what Ive been saying, everyone cried wolf that the new Lancer would be ugly. All thats left to do is tally the members on here who said the X would be terrible and question what they say after the Detroit autoshow. Guaranteed hypocrits...

04-06 ES is pretty damn ugly...but nothing you can't fix. And there are more 04-06 on the road because of two years of them selling. 02-03...just one year.

That's what I think, let me see that baby and slap it in my 02-03 squeaker.
