2008 Lancer [MEGAMERGE]
Why would you say that? The 4b11t is the new evo engine. This guy just posted this and he has given reliable info in the past. i mean he could be wrong, but why make it up. Here is what he said:
base lancer in us market will be powered by a new 2.0L 4B11 DOHC MIVEC around 150HP
but the lancer ralliart will have the turbocharged 2.0 4B11T DOHC MIVEC and you wont believe the HP RATINGS!! (pm me :-D )
you probably want to know if it 4WD OR AWD? (you'll have to wait till january)!
if you dont believe me (check my previous posts) that's fine by me, you'll see soon enough that i was giving you the real specifications....

I found more on it...

This is from the site that igot the picture from.
"December 11, 2006 - After months of rumor-mongering and bad PhotoShop jobs, Mitsubishi has finally revealed the next-generation Lancer. Now, before you go and get too excited, the car you are looking at isn't the much-anticipated EVO X. The sedan you see here is the plain-old entry-level Lancer.
Now, for an "entry-level" car, this Lancer looks pretty damn good. This latest Lancer is built on an all-new "performance-based" platform (shared with the new Outlander), and has a longer wheelbase and a wider track than the outgoing car.
No announcement of an EVO-tuned Lancer has been made, but we do know that the "normal" Lancers will be powered by an all-new 2.0-liter MIVEC engine that puts out 152 horsepower. Neutered California-emissions-compliant cars will only be good for 143 horses. Transmission choices will be a standard 5-speed manual or a CVT with a six-step (six-speed) Sportronic mode. A CVT with "six speeds"? We don't know how that's supposed to work, but we do know that the "gears" will be changed via the steering-wheel mounted magnesium paddle shifters.
The new Lancer is slated to hit showrooms in early 2007 and will be available in three trims: DE, ES and GT-S. Pricing - as well as the availability of the EVO and the "de-tuned" standard-WRX-fighting Lancer - will be announced later. We're guessing that we'll hear more at the Detroit Auto Show when this car makes its first-ever "public" debut."
I can't wait!

sorry! but i'm sure you can pm him and he will let you know
There will be a Ralliart, but it won't be released until later, same with the Evo. The Ralliart will be upgraded to compete with the WRX. 4B11T engine, 240hp, AWD.
