CAr looks good but the only thing that reminds me of earlier lancers are the headlights.

Honesty, look at the last gen Lancer (cedia). In its basic form with OZ trim, its very easy to see how the design used elements of the orignal Altezza (IS300) in a more basic and boring shape. The Evo with its fender flares and wing strayed further from the IS look, but its evident in the proportions and C pillar shape. Japanese car makers are great a copying styling elements.

Back to the point, how is a sub $20,000 car looking like a Lexus a bad thing???
Not a bad thing but I just don't think the EVO should look like a luxury car. Just MY opinion.

I've heard that the engine will be a 4B11 like the ones that are all over the Dodge 4-cylinder vehicles.

As far as I know, the Dodge Caliber has a variant of the 4B11 in it. I'm just wondering how the GEMA motor in the Lancer will be relatively speaking.

WORKS saw the 2008 Lancer today!

WORKS is committed to Mitsubishi products and the new 2008 Lancer is no exception.
We are in Detroit today and saw a sneak peak of the next generation. We will also be helping Mitsubishi celebrate the launch tomorrow along with the Prototype X.

WORKS has a limited product line for the current Lancer but the 2008 version will see a big increase in WORKS product offerings.

Check out the latest Lancer news and products on our site:

you guys notice the headlights of regular lancer and the prototype x? they look really the same to me. Looks like evo headlight can fit to a regular lancer.

That is the GTS. It is nice. I hope to get a DE in the next couple weeks so we can start playing with it. Mechanicals are basically all the same on all 3 models.
