2 Lancers Totalled in 10 months

So about 8 months ago I bought a 2004 Black Lancer ES. and withing 2 months i was driving on a road and someone waiting to turn left claims they didnt see me and turned infront of me, i skidded but not much you can do. i hit her Van on the back wheel and my car was declared totaled a week later. I won the legal battle, and her insurance paid 9,000 and with that money I bought another 2004 Lancer ES, but his time I had it for a while so i started modding it. RRM tails, RRM PG ECU, Infinity Sound system about to put a sub in. and many other things. and just yesterday i was driving with some of my friends on a failry busy street and we were going the speedlimit(40) and again someone waiting to turn left pulled out infront of me, i started skidding and nailed her. again i was unhurt, but now within 10 months 2 of my lancer have been totaled. there is a somewhat good side to this story. i was thinking about trading my lancer in for a Manual one, because mine was auto. so now i can get a manual, but i dont know if i wanna save up for a 2008 lancer gts or just a regular car.

omg om in similar shoes sorta of... like i havent totaled my car or n e thing but i have a 06 lancer and its auto and i want manual, dont know if i should try and swap it for the same but in manual(ill lose some cash) or if i should just turbo it up slowly or just keep saving for the new ralliart that is coming out - but thats up to 2 years away.

but yeah, good to hear u r ok, see if u can get a lancer with 2.4ltr coz they come stock with ABS disc all round

Unlucky, maybe save up or get another one.

It's almost as though as if you're a s**t to the lancers, moving from one to another

If you would have been going over the speed limit this all could have been avoided. Lesson learned, drive 45 mph.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear how bad your back hurts! Your pain and suffering must be awful. So awful in fact that there must be an EVO in your future that has much more supportive seats to help with the pain.

Feel better soon!

did you guys even read the last sentence of his post????????

The way I see it, you would have more money for mods (and maybe some of those you already bought survived) with the same generation of lancer that you already owned...... twice.

On the other hand, new lancer has some really nice features..... depending on which options and model you are looking at. I think the msrp price range on the new ones is really wide, so post up which options/features you are comparing. (and the price difference)
