VIP style lancer

Ok ive been seeing alot of vip cars lately, magazines, tv, around town, etc. Has anyone seen a lancer thats looks VIP? i have a black 03 OZ and i was thinking the lancer would look pretty sweet with some air ride, some wood grain, nothing too flashy just a clean vip look? any help, pics or guidance is appreciated.

I don't think it's a good idea, but it's your car do whatever you want

I cant believe you just said "Lancer" and "VIP" in the same sentence.

Honestly I think it will be hard to pull off because Lancers have been synomous with econo-box for a while now. Personally a lancer doesnt come to mind when I think of VIP...but hey it is your car...Hope you will be the first person to change that stigma.

wont find any pics here. Ive never seen a "VIP" lancer. VIP is for a car like a merc or a bmw. Not a DSM or a Lancer......

With a decent amount of money, you could pull it off... and I'm not talking 20k. The main disadvantage with the Lancer is the interior isn't roomy enough.

Well this car doesn't have any particular strong point, making it fast is expensive, and making it good looking is hard unless you want a fiberglass bodykit

If you want to do something different try the "vip" , pm Cityknight about his Luis vuitton interior.

I have thought about this before. I think that Coastie is talking about the vip look...like, Large wheels with high offsets that barley tuck, body kit, and half an inch off the ground.

I saw a vip style rx7 on the internet the other day. Prolly the best looking fd I have ever seen with chrome wheels.

It could be done but it would be expensive, and not really very drivable.

I could be pulled of fairly easily actually. Just take some of the elements of different cars on here an you have it.

I can pretty much line it out for you right here.

Start it of with a nice dark set of windows (20% or darker).
Since you already have an OZ, no need to do a body kit.
Put on some 17" or 18" gloss black with a polished lip.
Silver grill, either billet (like mine) or mesh like is the normal.
Of course the Air Ride.
Black wood grain on the interior (just the trim across the dash, the stereo surround, and the console top) best probably just to have it air brushed (real wood is too expensive and would have to be custom made, and the stick on is too low-class).
Nice flip-out DVD system, 7" in each of the headrests, small sub setup.
Add a black leather Katzkin interior with the door panels and seat inserts done with black suede.
And finish it up with a nice black suede headliner with a classy double-reinforced seam down the center.

Mmmmm... sounds sexy

thanks lancerman, yeah thats basically what i was talking about maybe not giant wheels, maybe a 17 or 16, maybe 18 if i can get enough tire in (no curb rash for me) lowered, some ice, interior and such. yeah since the lancer is kinda pricey to make fast, might as well be comfortable and kinda stealth.

Neversatisfied does anyone make a bolt on kit for air ride on a lancer, or a kit with at least all the parts, dont wanan have to piece one together.

also thanks insomniac for the pics
