Buying a Evo VI in US! LHD

I found a respectable dealer that have a Evo VI GSR, white LHD with 41km on it. Brand New, register and street legal for $42,000. They also have a Evo VI TME, white LHD with 1200km for $53,000. Should I get either of them? Thanks people. This is in the US.

One word: "RIPOFF"
I can think of better things to spend 50k on. I wouldn't pay 42k let alone 52k on any Evo. An Evo under 30k is the only Evo that is worth buying...otherwise it's just too much money
If you're rich and don't have anything better to blow money on...go ahead!

Well the TME is around UK pounds 34,000. If my calculator is not f... up this is more or less around US$ 50,000.

Rip off? I don't think so...... It could be if ya lookin for TME's at Walmart or somethin'

I just can't imagine spending 53k on a 4 banger Mitsubishi. I DO plan on getting an Evo VII when they come out but I would never consider it a car worth 40k or 50k plain and simple. Like I said if you're rich and money doesn't matter go for it.

$42k and $53k are too much to pay for an Evo and it doesnt even come with a warranty. Parts arent cheap either and you have to import them.

Just wait 9 more mths and get the Evo7, comes with full warranty and cost less than $30k.

If you think that's too much, you just don't know... you think you do, but you really don't. Unless you love leather seats and seat warming...

From: houston tx,
maybe I'm just biased, but I remember reading alot of comparisons in magazines that rate the m3 as sub-evo in every single performance category. Its a BMW, and BMWs are great cars if you are looking for a luxury vehicle. It just happens to be the performance vehicle in a LUXURY line. If you are getting an evo as a performance car, its worth its wieght in gold. If you get it as a luxury car, its worth its wieght in AOL cds. If you were looking for luxury, you can get a great lexus for 50 grand. As for whether or not you should pay 50 grand for the 6, I would wait for the 7 to come out. You are going to feel sort of stupid if you pay 50 grand for the evo 6, and then in 8 months you see a bunch of people driving around in 7s that they paid 20 grand less than you for.
