IT has not been happening because we have been concentrating on turbo and header. Both of which are close. Plus we have a bunch of other dressup stuff in the pipe.

I had my HID's installed last week and they found that the easiest way to get them installed properly was to basically disable the DRL's and use the wires from that little parking light to act as the turn on for the HID's instead of the lowbeam wiring. I lost the DRL's but I am OK with that. Never had them before so no big deal to me. Now the HID's come on at the first "click" of the light switch with the parking lights.

i wonder if its going to be like a whole new housing.. or if its something like a hid kit where you have to spice and connect wires... if its a new housing i wish it was plug and play.... i wonder if the evo x headlights would fit?! although it would cost an arm and a leg
first off, roadrace, why would you create HIDs for the lancer when they don't come with projectors? unless you're planning on fabricating projectors for the lancers...
people who put HIDs in their stock housings which weren't designed for HIDs blind other people on the road. a projector makes the beam focus and not scatter, when you run your new fancy HIDs in a stock housing without a projector you scatter light every which way and there for cause a whole lot of blinding..
roadrace, for you to create HIDs and not a projector since there are none out there is basically saying HEY, BLIND THE **** OUT OF PEOPLE, WE DON'T CARE AS LONG AS YOU BUY THEM FROM US SO WE MAKE MONEY. I think the HIDs should stay just where they are, a concept idea...
