Should I get an EVO?

i think itd be pretty fun to drive both...just in different ways. hell im in the same position as you...getting either an evo 7 in january or getting a 330i today. tough choice but i decided to go with the evo cuz its a lot better performance and well thats pretty much the only reason i want the evo over the bmw. bmws are my favorite brand of car and i think any new bmw looks better than any evo. but the evo just suits my age group better...hood vents, spoiler, and all that other rice stuff. tho im not against it since it serves an actual purpose for the evo. and i think a evo would just be more fun to drive for a teenager and i think id get more use out of it then just driving raound in a bmw because of its high status. oh but bleh urs is a 323...thats got no power, trade it in for a 330 or trade it in for an evo 7.

I think looking at the sort of replys and thoughts that people have in there heads I suggest an own section for them called either (all in a gay voice):
1. Uuuuhh, my backend hurts, THAT ride is TOOOO harsh!!
2. Hmmm, that leather looks TASTY, can I lick it?
3. What will Leonardo think if I show up in THAT!!
4. Don't drive too fast, darling, or my finger will slip out my ***...
5. Can you turn the seatwarmer on, my *** needs some TLC...
6. Uuh, uuhh, uuuuuuhhhh, THAT BMW looks SOOOO beautiful, let me dance around it with my "§$% in my hand!!!
Or, I think it could be easier just to have a drivers section...

Good point though, maybe we could do with a section where we can discuss driving techniques etc other than the Autocross so that our testosterone-filled super aggressive European friends such as Michael can call people ***** drivers in the appropriate section? Let me put this in the Suggestions forum...

I have the option of getting an EVO 7 when it comes, and i would do mods to it like turbo back exhaust, and intake, boost control, or getting a '99 ///M3 with low millage, and maybe in a while after that put a super charger on it. i know the 0-60 isnt good on the m3 but it also takes every bit of clutch the evo has to get to it in 4.6 or whatever. i know the hadling difference but i guess what i am really trying to ask is how is the top end on an evo 7? my friend has a wrx with only an intake, and on the freeway, you press the gas all the way, and it just kida goes, but sometimes i see m3's going at normal speed and just hiting it and the acceleration looks good. is the only reason the evo is good because the awd launches to 60 and the handling?

Every time you accelerate above 3.500 rpms, no matter which gear, the car just pulls very hard all the way to the limiter at over 7.500 rpms, when in the M3, after 5.000 rpms, you have to "wait" if you know what I mean. The feeling of acceleration is much more brutal. The M3 is much more linear.
