All I have to say is the Evo is a hell of an all around car in terms of price, power, handling, looks, and uniqueness. I mean correct me if I am wrong, but besides the WRX...what other AWD Turbo Four-doors are available in the US for under $30,000?

For the price, it's absolutely unbeatable. It holds it own (performance wise) next to cars twice as much. I mean if thats not a deal...I dunno what is

 

Unfortunately there seems to be a whole lot of bimmer haters who obviously own some other car and think whatever they have is the ****. And typically those who accuse others as granny drivers and idiots seem to be the ones who are the ***** *** drivers and the real idiots. All I see here is bunch of talk and BS which can go on back and forth. I think those dumbasses who criticize need to start contributing and start talking about topics that will move us forward instead of criticizing and putting others down. But then again, those retards don't get anything and will reply to this saying this and that, so STFU!

As far as my bimmer comments go. I do HATE BMW's (FOR ME)...but only 'cause they're not the kind of car I want. They're great cars....well built, good looking (even though most of the designs are basically the same), and fast, but they're not for me.

If you think I said what I said because I think my car is the ****....yer kidding yerself....I have a Saturn....I'll say that again...I have a SATURN.

People may not agree with Claudius, but he owned an M3 before the Evo so I think he has a much better idea of what each car can do vs. the majority of us who only assume from word of mouth. That doesn't make him right, but his experiences give much more merit than the majority of us. Also, he states his opinions and gives others the chance to speak theirs without attacking them.

Remember this is a Lancer forum so expect some bias, otherwise we'd all by BMWs and wouldn't be here.

I think Claudius should never have insulted evo_penguin, and I think he'd be the first to apologize if he feels he was out of line.

evo_penguin, I don't think your very objective either. Your opinions are just different. You've obiously expressed how much better the M3 and M5 and that handling is not the only factor. Your not wrong, but your not right either. I would guess 95% of the people here want a great handling car and could care less about the other aspects.... otherwise, the majority would look into other cars. The problem I see is that you attack others opinions that differ. It's generally not constructive and thus, doesn't help one bit. You've got plenty of info, whether from experience or reading... just learn how to express that constructively and let others express their opinions.

Basically 95% of the posts in here have been a bunch of opinions and can't be proven one way or another. To argue over them isn't worth the bandwidht I HAVE TO PAY FOR .

Thanks for moderating and keeping these forms grounded. I don't think anyone should put anyone down for any reason based on opinion and personal biases.

As for you Hoob boy, you need to butt out and not get yourself into trouble. If you were just a little smarter you would know who I was talking to...

As for the so called "gods" of the LANCER forums who have Evos, their demeanor is expected based on their experience of owning them, however, from the attitudes and insults I don't think they hold total merit.
