Hell im looking forward to the X just so more VIII and IX will start showing up used. Screw the X, I just want a used VIII GSR.

not me. too poor. I dont get it, why cant ppl just wait for the Evo X instead of buying a 08 lancer and then trading it in. Isnt depreciation really high?

Because my car was going to crap out in the mean time, and I don't have nearly enough to pay for it now, so after a few years when I pay off the 08, then I can think about trading up. That way I still get to enjoy my car now, but when I'm ready, I can sell it and buy the Evo X. Maybe.

Personally, I have thought about it and keep thinking about it. As much as I want to, I do realize it's definitely not a financially smart decision, especially for a 20 year old college student!

yeah by the time you graduate.. its gonna be an evo 11

cars are expensive toys.. thats all they are.. if you bought a 08 lancer why didn't you lease it for like 2 years and lease an evo?? i dont get it.. i guess people have money to burn.. if so please send it to me.. lol

I was trying to sell myself on the idea, but ultimately decided not to. There's better things to spend money on than an inflated car payment with an inflated insurance rate.
