Under the seat under the carpet? Because the sensor comes into the interior all the way up under the cig lighter area.

Pull the center console and pull back the carpet (at the front/left of the passenger foot area). The connection is pretty much near the center hump.

I vote that you solder it back together, but attach it to the side of the test pipe (so it only gets clean air). You'll be MUCH happier and have no CEL that way.

Yeah I felt around the carpet and could feel where it was, I'll pull it out this weekend. I'm going to a muffler shop also to have a high flow cat put in lol, I've decided it's way too loud and high pitched raspy to go without any cats. Also, I'm gonna go leave you seller feedback Doug. Thanks again for the parts. Great shipping time.

Haha. Can't take the heat?
Oh yeah, I still need to leave you feedback I think. Off to do that now...

One HUGE piece of advice - have them put the O2 sensor bung ON THE BACK of the HFC. Then lengthen the wires to the O2 sensor. Install so that the sensor is behind the HFC. That's what I did on my 2002 and it worked great. No CEL, car ran beautifully, and it's all legal.

OK thanks, I'll have them do that. ha I don't know how anyone with aftermarket headers can run that test pipe, although it sounds very mean inside the car, but outside is another story. It's like those Hondas you make fun of, but 3 times louder.

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. That exhaust came off my friend's car, so I heard that **** everytime I saw him. I could hear him coming from the freeway exit (1/4 mile away).

Gotta admit, it REALLY gives nice topend HP, though.

Good to know, I really haven't gotten to try it out yet. I've been babying the throttle cause it sucks so much gas, and it rattles on the sway bar perch, so after the new cat is in I will get to actually see how it feels.

Just make sure you give it a full 0-redline run at least once before you swap it out. Enjoy that HP before you install that bottleneck . . . er . . . catalytic converter.
