The new diesel and non evo turbo Lancer
Yeah, the Lancer line is the best seller for Mitsu. As for the Smart Car, it's a gasoline engine (1.0 3 cylinder making about 70hp.) Many more diesels are destined for the US, however. VW is bringing back all their diesel options. MB, Saab, Volvo, BMW, and Honda all have plans to have diesel options available in the US market within the next 2-3 years. Automakers definitely realize that now is a great time to reintroduce diesels to the US, and Mitsu would be wise to jump onto that bandwagon.

That's what we were talking about yesterday. The Lancer being there best seller at the time. The Raider dropped off. The outlander was hot right when it came out, but now it's the Lancer's turn on top for a while.
They also were talking about something similar to the smart car that Mitsu makes. Just another of of those tuny cars that everyone else has, and we don't cause the crash test ratings, ect. He said this one's a 1.0l turbo 4 door. very very narrow.
I walked in the class room when they were talking about a small car. Then one of the teachers said something about one having a busa engine in it. I said, "A smart car??" I knew right away, haha.
