I drive a lancer es 06 2.4L. I was wanting to know does the MAF on the air box come off. I want to install a SRI and wanted to know how i would install this still with the air sensor attached. This is where the air sensor sits.

Or does anyone know a brand that specifically caters to this lancer.

 

Do you mean you have an 08' Lancer ES? Cause the 06 Es's didn't come with a 2.4L engine.

But I would check with Road Race Motorsports on the SRI. I know they make one for the GTS models so it might be the same.

Then again... Maybe its a Canadien thing? Lol...

 

Just a thought - very few of us are from Australia (it's mostly Americans). We didn't even get the type of car you own. You need to post a picture so we can try and figure it out.

i know you use the maf off of the usa lancers but idk about the aus. my 06 lancer Es has a 2.0L and i used the Maf from it for my K&N Typhoone Intake. hope this helps

 

Maybe you got the RalliArt engine. It's the only 2.4L I can think of.
