Question Racing Seat Question - Probably obvious

This has probably been covered countless times before, but i need a specific answer.

I am getting some Megan racing seats and I'm trying to figure out options on fitting them.

so will the RMR racing seat brackets work with Megan Racing seats?

Personally I would stay away from those seats and go for a more well known and well established company like Sparco, Recaro, Bride or Momo. Those look to be essentially rebadged Ebay seats and I doubt they've been tested (they certainly don't have FIA certification). As for the question, they may work but they do clearly state they are made for Sparco seats.

alright, just wanted to know about the brackets. Thanks for the help, i may look into the slowboy brackets
the seats are already on their way, and Megan have a pretty solid reputation, so i don't doubt their products.

The only thing that worries me is the fact that the mounting locations might be wider on the stock seats than the aftermarket ones and thus having to do some custom fitting to the floor pan.

I have Tenzo R Rally seats and I was able to use the factory sliders from off the OE seats. But the Tenzos have a narrower base and I had to custom fit the sliders into the pan area.

All I can say is good luck my man! oh, and some killer bulbs would go great with seats!

you should post some pics of the install when you do it, i'd love to see how these look when you get them in the car. i am considering buying at least one seat that i can throw in the car on track days since the OZ seats are not the most comfy in the twisties. i'm curious as to how these seats would fit in the car and feel to the driver. can't wait to see some info!

seat brackets from evos (7-9) will fit 02-06 lancers.

perhaps this will give you more options to consider. Good luck.

^Cool! they look about the same as the ones I got a while back. But these about twice the price... Good luck with the install! You'll probably need to drill new holes, but you just might get lucky!

well the description says they fit the megans well, and should only need minor modifications.
plus i didn't actually pay for them, so the price doesn't bother me

LOL, wish I could get some "free" stuff! If they fit them, then that's great! Keep us updated when you get the brackets.
