someone on ebay is trying to sell a used fujita intake and incase anyone has seen it and is wondering if it is rev 1 2 or 3 (not sure if 3 is even released) or if it throws the CEL light here are the answers.

I asked the seller "which version of the intake is this. is this the one that throws the check engine light ? "


he replied

"Fujita only has one SRI out for the 08 Lancer and yes your check engine light will come on as it would with any intake because of the O2 sensors getting the extra air"



he either thinks im an idiot and dont know anything or he is an idiot. anyways buyers beware !

Yeah i use to be on ebay a lot until i bought a turbo off ebay. Thats when i finally realized i'm done with ebay for now lol. And it says CVT? I would say read up on this

They make 2 kinds of SRI. One for the MT or AT.

 

by "at" they mean cvt for the 08 lancer.

 

Exactly..So is your car a CVT? And im assuming since you have a GTS with the CVT trans..i'm sure it would work.

 

the only thing it would do is turn my check engine light on, all 2008 and 2009 lancer owners know that the fujita intake is flawed im just warning any lancer 08 and 09 owners out there so that they dont think this is a good "deal"
