that's nothing my friend bought a car from a private seller and went for a test drive the car broke down during the test drive and my friend still bought it i was so angry he bought the car

I definitely would have them fix it. Problem with your friend is it is probably too late. Maybe take it to a body shop and see if they can work it out with a good detail.
