NO NO NO NO NO it isn't worth it. A friend of mine owns an online part's store and he got a free one in and gave it to me to borrow for a few weeks to test it and report on it. The thing is impossible to collabarate correctly, and even when you get it close, it still gives very inaccurate readings. I tested it at the track several times and it was always way off what my actual time slips said.

Don't waste your money.

That's strange...I did quarter mile and the g-tech was only about .2 seconds off +/-. But i know that SAFC is more accurate...Here in Australia magazine reviewers rely on G-tech aus, and they found it to be accurate enough...

.2 seconds off is quite a bit in my opinion. That is the difference in quite a bit of HP. However, on several occaisions, it was off for me more than that.

Well, for the price I got, I'm taking the chance. I don't need exact measurements, I just want it to play around with.

I just got a brand new G-Tech Pro off eBay for $40 shipped. Looks pretty impressive, I'm waiting for the rain to go away and I'll post up some readings...

Whenever I get real money to burn, I'd look into either the Apex'i RSM since it has the nifty G-Sensor addition which helps promote accuracy (one of the mags did a review that I think I posted here, look it up) or the Blitz Power Meter i-D which is basically the same thing as all products listed here: digital pocket dynos. Someone pointed out that that in the automotive game that .2 seconds off of a measure is a big difference so don't expect "real" numbers with any of these products. Plus you need the right conditions since most of these can't account for wheel spin and since it's not a dyno or a track's tree system, you don't know with confidence if you're on any kind of slope which will aslo interfere with readings.
