Turbo Kit Question

I'm planning on buying a 2003 Lancer OZ or ES (Automatic). From a fully stock lancer point of view, what mods beside a turbo should I throw on it to make it faster? Or is a 16G Turbo kit good enough? I don't want it to be a speed demon, I just want to be able to reach its top end faster. In the mean time I'll be saving up for a Evo, so I'm not really trying to speed a lot of money on this lancer. It'll mostly be used as a daily driver.

first use search, but anyway...

the car doesnt respond well to bolt on mods. lightweight crank pully helps and ported intake tb and fuel rail all help but a turbo is really the only way to go. now if you do all that and turbo it helps a lot...

go with the 16G kit them get the under drive pulley kit. then id put in a new cam the new rods and pistons and bring the compression to like 9:5 or 9:1 then get the stage two head from rrm 550 fuel injectors wally 255 then crank the boost up to 14-15 psi and you will burn out your clutch so upgrade that then you will be toying with wrx's gti's all sorts of cars! good luck!

It's Auto so I assume they have no plans to "upgrade the clutch" . Basically a 16g turbo setup at about 7 psi is going to give you some getup with out costing a whole lot of money. I mean it's not gonna be fast, but quick for sure

I can get it cheaper then 4K I can get it for around 2K. Would a better intake and exhaust be a good idea as well for an automatic?

no mater what you do, turbo kit is not going to be cheap,
you need to upgrade fuel system which would be around $1000 for quality parts..
and upgrade your internals if you do not want to blow your motor, turbo kit is a big mod not something little
