Goodbye lancer :( hello sinful American Pleasure :D

Well, after 2 years of enjoying my 2009 lancer GTS, My urge for something more powerful finally got to me after I read this article

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/index.html

So I went to my local Ford dealer to give this new 305hp beast a test drive.

First impression was...

WOW

After about 5 minutes behind the wheel on the Dealers test track I was sold.

But i started to get concerned when I started to think about my trade in. i still owed 13.8k.... they offered me 13.5k for my 2009 gts 5sp, w/ ss pkg, aftermarket nav and 19000 miles.

Talk about a low ball offer!!!!! My hopes were smashed!!!!

Long story short after 2 hours of bartering I was able to get them to give my 15.6k !!!!!!! not bad.

Add 1k manufacture rebate and ford x-plan pricing through my employer and i now own this. A 2011 Mustang V6 with a 6 SPD manual!

Had to test it with my g-timer

Sorry Bout the bad quality Pic from my cell phone.

Not that I didn't like my Lancer, I just wanted something more powerful. Didn't want to run the risk of blowing an engine slapping a turbo on it. Ralliart's are to expensive In my opinion. And there is no way I can afford an EVO. Mazda Speed 3 was Also in my price range but i couldn't stand the new styling.

I also no longer have to constantly fix chips on the rear door jam and rear side skirts. yay!!
Never owned a RWD car before, WOOT for fun winters, lol.

congrats! I was never really a mustang fan until this most recent one. Seems like they've finally started to get their act together.

Congratulations. How's the torque? Do the rear tires want to spin from a full throttle roll? I'm sure the aftermarket will catch up to this car too.
