1/8th mile times

Ive got my Lancer here with a custom CAI and custom catback exhaust, what do you think my 1/8th mile times would (should) be?

I was thinking of taking it down to the RaceLegal track and running it against my friends Focus ZX3. I know his pulls harder than mine with the 10 extra HP at the crank but I think I can get him on the shifting work since... I shift better than him

Anyone wanna schedule a meet at a Qualcomm RaceLegal event? I dont mean this year, maybe next year in January hehe. I think there was a meet a while ago here in SD but maybe we can get together at the RaceLegal track

I'd say high 10's to low 11's...

It all depends on the driver.

Good luck.

Hey bro, dont sweat it, I had a stock 2003 ES and raced a Modded Focus ZX3 with CAI, Exhaust and a chip and dominated him. Both of us were auto so.. yeah. I raced him at like a 20 punch and beat him by one or two car lengths. GO LANCERS!!!!!! lol Kill for the team! Peace!

My best was 11.5 stock though. So maybe 11 for your car. I also have an automatic. A standard should get a better launch.

I just did some non comp runs. I did 11.13 in the 1/8 and I wasn't even trying to launch right. I have an auto, so it won't be as fast as a stick.

BTW, I have a Palm Program I'm going to start selling in the vendor section which will time your runs and give you 0-60 times. Just hit the "make run" button and it waits for you to launch. So rev it up and drop the hammer. I also measures HP and Torque, Gas milage and graphs too. To top it all off it meters all the sensors in your car, MAF flow, Intake Temp, Coolant temps, rmp, Fuel rail pressure, etc.... I can also turn off the check engine light with the trouble code reader built in.

Sorry for the plug, I'm still figuring out how to work it on my Handspring, before I bring it to the masses. I have one left to sell. PM if interested. Yes, I'll post this in my regular vendor ad. Sorry.

that sounds pretty cool tswift...

www.carchip.com offers a thing that also measures ur speed/rpms/mileage etc its pretty cool but ur seems way better if u can get it all hooked up.

why r u only lookin at 1/8th times instead of the 1/4....i guess most 'street' races from a redlight are prolly 1/8 instead of a 1/4 so i guess that could make some sense, i dunno though

Our track closes in the winter even though its about 70 deg. here most of the winter. Go figure.

I wont be able to get my times for a while.
