depends if you want to go with looks or performance first.

for cosmetics wheels and springs first no doubt.
for hp gain you can start with basic intake and exhaust.

be sure to search your local classifieds for parts

Sorry to reiterate what ThunderOZ stated, but it's the truth. The 4G94 engine does not respond well to bolt-ons. Installing a catback, cold air intake, header, ported throttle body and ported intake manifold will only give you about a 10-12hp gain and will cost you $500-700. It's a sad truth all new Lancer owners face sooner or later when they start dropping money into their car and wonder why it's still slow.

I know you say that installing a turbo isn't in your budget, but if you intend on spending money for bolt-ons that will give you no power gain you might as well not even put money into the car to begin with.

Well, it was worth a shot lol. I knew the power increase wouldnt be too much tho I thought itd be more than that. Well trust me Im not gonna be dropping more than several hundred but thats mainly cosmetically speaking. New lights, tint, spoiler ect... I still think Im gonna get a new muffler tip, still thinking about intake (probly not right now ). Thanks guys for the tips. Anymore I'll keep in touch.
Guess Im going just for looks now...

I say you shop around the used classifieds and pick up the parts as you see them for sale such as Intake/Exhaust... Even if it is not a huge increase, its still fun to get some fresh air and work on a car, its a good learning experience. That way if you ever get another car down the road that sees better gains you will have more knowledge of how to do stuff.
