The novemeber issue of SPort Compact Car had a write up of the evo VII with pictures. They say its coming to the US in 2002. Hope its true

 

is that mag available in us?

 

I may actually believe Sport Compact Car since they were the first to confirm that the WRX was coming to the US (probably got the inside scoop from Subaru after working on the 2.5 RS project car). Do they have any speculation on how the US version will compare to the JDM version?

The mag is avail. in the US. Its novembers issure most newstands still have octobers out with the wrx on the front. This issure has the EVO VII on the front cover. Sorry dont know the page number lol

Finally my subscription to SCC has given me joy. After reading the article i definitely see the EVO hitting our shores as soon as mitsu can get it over here. Since the WRX has been embraced by the masses and they have even upped the number imported from 10k to 15k and look to sell every bit of those. In order for the EVO to compete though it needs to at least come in under $30k, which i am most certainly hoping it does. Of course i do think the world is ending with that disgusting mutation of the skyline that nissan is sending over as the Infiniti G35, of course they say that the GT-R will make it over here SOMEDAY. Sorry i am rambling but that article in SCC just got me all riled up...hell i am thinking about how i will post my tech tips...hehe. If you build it they will come.
