what has mitsu done for you lately?
local benson mitsubishi salemanager will try to take advantage of any lack of knowledge on your part.... im just a 25 year old kid trying to buy a evo say think, so he starts the price at 33k! lol then they lie and say the invoice is 29k, which is also a lie. so after wrestling with them for 2 hours i finally get a good deal and they try to slip in the usual trash.. extended warranty, BS vin etching, etc etc ... all bull**** with super high profit margin for them... i would actually i get extended warranty if the service department is really dow n to earth but hey thats a diamond in the rough....
Well after trying to blame me for the rubber around my headlight coming off. They replaced the drivers assembely and 2 months later replaced the passengers assembely. They tried to tell me i took it to a automatic car wash or my headlight bulbs melting the glue. They also just replaced the fuel temp sensor.
LOL
LMAO

Anyhow, I went back to the dealer that I bought the car from and showed him the damage. Basically, though the car was only three months old (bought it in January), he stated the damage was beyond normal, and that trim pieces were not included in my warranty.
It was a pain in the butt, but I was finally able to get the carpet and three other things (passenger side mirror, center dash vent, and 12-volt outlet) fixed in November of last year.
I had concerns with the cheap paint used on the car, and was told it wasn't covered under warranty, either. A Factory District Representative personally came to my house (only blocks away) and delvered me a complimentary bottle of the wrong color Touch-Up.
I got the feeling from the beginning that Mitsi didn't care about customers. A year, later-I am convinced!!

i don't know if i would have took 180 bucks for that foul up. if you had gotta on the highway or if you even got up to like 50mph in traffic, you and your car could have been seriously ****ed. glad you're alright and atleast they were cool.

My dealer (Thousand Oaks, Ca.) reset my ecu and checked to make sure it wouldn't go off again (for free), repaired the steering column under warranty (free), and gave me $50 off my last service since I changed the oil and air filter myself.
I'm happy with my service thus far.

Well, my family's been dealing with Mitsu for a long while. My mom is driving a 1999 Galant. She drives around 40 miles one way to work and the dealership on the way is around 15 from home and 25 from work. When she leaves her car, the sales MANAGER (yes manager) drives her to work. Then he picks her up when she gets off, at 5, in the middle of rush hour. But, mind you, she does go in once a month to have her tires balanced, rotated and oil change when needed and has probably put only a few hundred dollers in her car for the occasional losing of a tire valve cap. So, thus far, Mitsu has been extremely nice to her at least....
Now, for me trying to buy my car is a completely different story. We all show up in my dad's PT Cruiser and the lady's nice but is running us around in circles trying to make us buy it for 3k more than what's on the car. My dad finally told her "Look, the sticker says 15$$$ thousand and you're wanting to charge me 18$$$ then I have no reason to speak with you anymore. Are you willing to lose my money due to trying to haggle me?" No answer from her. He looks at my mom, my mom looks at me and we get up and walk out. "I hope things don't go like this next time I try to buy a car," he says as he leaves the room. So, other than that I've never had any expierence with a bad Mitsu dealer and I always go to local shops anyway. But, my .02 cent.
