Battery!!!

i was watching tv, a place where i get all my good and bad ideas from

here is one, i am not sure if its good or bad so i will ask. i have seen that some trucks put 16volt batteries in them. they said on tv it helps them with dimming problems and everything just runs smoother with them. should i put one in my lancer??? what would be the best option to make my lights not dim when at a stop, i have some fog lights and they suck a lil power and i notice that all my lights dimm when the car is at idle. i DON"T WANT A CAP.

i can sell u my cap for 55 bucks https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ight=car+audio

EDIT: and btw, if you do any kind of autocross, changing the voltage of the battery will put u in a completely different class.

the thing is ...if you have a powerfull system...your gonna go through a lot of batteries!...unless you can find a way to route the alternator to that battery..which keeps it charged ...thats why there are caps!....that is the best way to go...if you have a big system then go with a 3 farad cap..

jus get a deep cycle battery then it can take more current without having a voltage drop. then you can stay at 12v
