Hello everyone, it's me again, and still having headlight problems... go figure.

So just car looks like this at the moment

My cheap eBay HIDs finally gave up, only one works, it's not the bulb, it's the ballast, and yes I got the DRL bypass cable too.

Now, I live in Chicago land, some of my friends have been pulled over (but not ticketed) for bright "after market" headlights (HIDs without projectors) ... but I LOVE the look of HIDs.

So Sylvania ZXE caught y attention... do they really look like HIDs? Does anyone have personal experience? Pictures?

Or should I be a rebel and get (non eBay) HIDs? I was thinking about picking up the full kit from www.xenonsupply.com ($110 I believe, comes with DRL bypass, anti flicker device, and a few other things) ... also, do I really have to cut and splice wires to make HIDs work properly? Or is there any kit that works just plug and play style?
Because, if all HID kits require tampering with wires I'm def going to go with the ZXE's.
