Ok so i'm on da Veilside website to find something interesting for my dad's 350z . N i came across da exhaust systems. They have this new titanium tear drop cat-back system. I looked into it and saw dat they have it for EVO 4,5,6, and 7 in japan. But its says for da american version jus Lancer. So does dat mean like a reg lancer or do they mean the EVO8. If they did mean the EVO8 wouldnt they have said it n not jus lancer. I wasnt sure if this exhaust was for us, cuz i dont want to get excited for nothin. Let me kno wut u guys think, or if ne1 knows fo real. Thanks.

My money is on that it's for the Evo. It doesn't make sense of them to manufacture a Lancer product before an Evo product, seeing as how little support we've gotten up to this point.

 

Yea i was thinkin dat too. I wanna say there's always hope, but i higly doubt it. I emailed them asking. There goin to think i'm stupid. But wuteva it wouldnt hurt them to make some lancer parts!!

They got da same line for a damn civic and celica(better then a civic) and rsx(not even the type s). So y cant that be for our Lancer. I think i'm starting to have hope : )

 

even if it was veilside...which is an awesome company...dude that 1200 for an exhaust system...that a lot of money and you can do a lot more to a lancer with that money...not saying that you'd actuallly get it...but i dont think its for the "lancer" that i have...its prolly for the evo

i emailed the guy at vielside and he said that they don't make any for our cars only evo's.. i think thats Bull SH*.. they have for civics....they should make one for regular lancer's

I'm gonna say since it's a 90mm exhaust system (roughly 3 inches) and it's the same part for the "lancer" and the other Evos, it's for the US Evo, not the Lancer. Sorry (but who would want to pay $1200 for exhaust anyway?)

 

yea dats a lot of F'ing money. But Still Veilside is a very trusted company and they've done big things in japan. Fo real JDM Fetish, screw all those damn civics. WE NEED PARTS FROM VEILSIDE NOT THOSE DAMN RICE BURNERS!!!

 

Civics and Celicas have sold in significantly higher volume (excluding fleet sales which skew sales figures) than Lancers. I'm willing to be the price of the car is irrelevent from a sales point of view because the large number of potential buyers can make up for the perceived "cheapness" of the car I'm sure.

Which is xactly y there are more ricers out there. To bad these companies dont realize that ricers are buying there products n not real tuners (like tha lancer/EVO peeps).

 

I don't think they care if the buyer is a ricer or a tuner, or even someone buying the exhaust to weld into a contorted rendition of modern art! They just care that the people are buying them. $1200 x 1,000 Civics is better than $1200 x 100 Lancer (unfortunately)
