Please help me troubleshoot this nagging glitch...

Hello and thank you all in advance, my wife's car which is a 2002 Lancer 1.6 has developed this glitch which no one is able to fix, I've taken it to a lot of places and no one seems to know where it's coming from, I've attached a computer to it but no error codes appear even during the glitch.

The Glitch is very random, I couldn't recreate it at all, it happens in PARK, in drive, highway speeds, I think it happens more frequently when the engine is cold and less frequently when it warms up.

Here's a 15 second you-tube video...

The best I can describe it is like a very brief momentary fuel starvation, like when the engine is about to die, the check engine light comes on for 2 seconds and goes out again.

Please if you could give me some ideas or components to check, my wife is afraid to drive it even though I told her it's not a big deal.

Sincerely yours,

Bobak.

Here's another 40 seconds video of me driving at a constant speed on the highway and it happening 3 times, this is when the car was pretty cold, it happens a lot more when it's cold.

Is there some cheap things I can try replacing myself like the O2 senson or something else?

Any advise highly appreciated.

Just to add some relevalant info...

The engine is 1.6, it's an automatic transmission.

The engine runs perfectly smooth and no other problems are there except this.

Does it only occur while cold or if you start it, let it warm up, then turn it off but start it shortly after does it repeat? Also, if occurs both on warm or cold idle, did you have a chance to throw what engine codes for the errors? Auto zone will even just give them up free. Thanks,
Chad

Thanks Chad,

It happened all the time with no error codes registering, anyway I've given up on it last weekend and just sold the car now though, I have a feeling that it could've been the Throttle positioning sensor.

Thanks for your help though.

Bobak.
