Fuel Pump: Walbro 500Hp


Hi all,


I have this weird and frustrating problem with the fuel running through my car. First of, it starts up fine, drove it around for 5 mins and than cuts out. 5 mins later, it starts again than stops. ive taken the pump out and tested it, and it works great, no problems there. I turned the ignition on and the pump winds up but the car wont fire. It keeps winding when trying to start it as if there was no fuel getting through and back fires as well but no go. Has anyone had this problem before?

Check fuel pressure while cranking. Start there and make sure it is getting enough fuel. (could be fuel pressure relay)
