Any other sportback owners??
If your wanting something for your headlights and tail lights you could use stuff called 'fly-eyes'. It's tinting for your lights and 100% legal . I wouldn't attempt the fly-eye stuff, I'd get a tinting shop to do it. Also it's cheap, like £15 a light
If you do want to do stuff to cars and your not that confident, instead of modding the lancer, spend £200 on a old VW and fix it up doing DIY stuff, if you mess up it doesn't matter coz it only cost £200 and if you did mess up it's less likely to break coz it's a VW. I'd also re come d a VW as te 2.0 turbo Diesel engine in the lancer is a VW. If you got any questions just fire me a message
About the springs, I'm not even going to attempt to fit my own springs just incase and also you will need to get your tracking and alignment done once fitted so just take to a garage, shop around garages for the best price

Sadly no room for another car, and having only had a license 8 months, no money for insurance either!
I'll defs check out that flyeye stuff for the rear lights and probably invest in the eagle eyes head lights, I could also get an HID kit for them too I assume? - For dipped & full beam? - Would I also need to do the fogs?

Cheers for your help guys!

ah ok fair enough! even videos on youtube help, everything ive done to my car is self taught just got to do a lot of reading but its definately worth it!! do not buy a HID kit as it is illigal in the UK to have HID id you do not have headlight washers. i bought bulbs on ebay and they work a treat, very white light, none of the yellow carp. Dont do it for your fogs, the flyeyes will dim the brightness of your lights so your fog lights will no longer be fog lights
