The reason i am running a cat - less setup is cuz i wanna have maximum flow at high rpm's when i drag race. I'm not too good on the low end due to the loss of back pressure but if i get the shifting fixed and a good tune - i'm gonna be a terror

No idea for a tuning shop. Sorry.

Damn, good luck fixing that up. Maybe get dynoed and verify what your A/F ratio is?

16.8 sounds right for stock (optimal conditions)... i was around that with mine, and thats about the same as a 5spd echo, my bro ran about the same time when we went to the track ... so ya our cars are pretty slow lol

i've heard of ralliarts in the 15s but my buddy could only do 16 flat with his (altho he had no oil change in 10k+km, bald tires etc..)

i'm wondering if it's possible to have under 14 sec with N/A? now that would be something...

So no one answered. What is the track length in Canada? 400 meters? 1320 feet? Anyone?

I think someone on the ralliart forums was talking about hitting 14 with a ralliart N/A. They said drag radials, stage 2 clutch, sport springs, short shifter, ecu, intake, catback, downpipe, no cats, take all the seats out, interior pieces out, etc.. But I am not sure, you would have to search. I don't think you could get UNDER 14's N/A. Possibly with a ralliart.. it would be very tough though.

Definetly not a lancer ES/OZ.. unless you had a really really built ALL MOTOR lancer. You would have to strip all the excess weight out of the car, have ecu, ported everything, high compression pistons, injectors, fuel rail, racing clutch, springs, header, downpipe, fuel management, etc.. It would cost too much money. lol.

1/4 Mile....unless its a 1/8mile track.

Canada Has an odd measuring system. Half of the things we are using metric and half we are still using the old imperial system.

Its almost worth it to break down and just buy a little Honda CRX as a project race car..
-1991 CRX - $1000 (weighs like 1500lbs..lol)
-H22a Prelude motor - $2000
-misc performance mods - $1000
-strip out interior and useless crap - free
-quarter mile = 13 or 14, maybe less.

Then you still have your nice daily driver lancer if you still want to do some minor mods on.. racing just tears up a daily driver. Those little CRX's are really quick.. and look pretty cool too. I saw one in super street magazine and the caption said "ugly....but fast." lol. It was a rusted out stock-looking CRX with a huge @ss turbo and intercooler.. it ran like 12's or something.

half a sec. is quite a bit, i suggest you get the rrm piggyback if you dont have it, and then strip your interior, you may be able to pick up that time then.

We'll see about that- June 22 I'm going to the strip and this time they'll have to tow me away if it starts raining

SRI
Stage 2 cam with springs
emanage with timing harness and support tool tuned with a real wideband
bored TB
ported G93 manifold
ported head
header
2.25" DP
Tein SS dampers
Falken Azenis sport for rubber
splitter/front wing

No doubt Wadad is gonna be quick, but I think the tuning flexibility of my setup will give me the advantage.
