considering a lancer de

Hey guys. My previous car is no longer safe to drive and it's time for a new one. I'm considering the lancer I found. It's an 08 lancer de with about 90k miles. It had a fender bender but has been repaired. I've not really read anything about it being unreliable just disappointing under the hood especially with the cvt which is the one I'm looking at. Carmax asking $10k

What are your thoughts on it? Is it reliable, fun, cheap to maintain? Still in college and need reliable but would like something fun. Don't really want a civic mainly because they're everywhere haha. But I'm not in a position to be picky. Thanks!

Dude i think 10k looks more reliable than anything
I think you should look for another one if not a diffrent car.

I don't know about 10k... I also wouldn't call that a FUN car. Maybe with 2-3k in suspension and 2k in wheels/tires you will be able to properly throw it in a corner and have fun. It's a grocery getter that kinda looks like an evo. Believe me, I have one. Reliable? 30k on the clock (my job is 5 miles from my house), only oil changes so far. Nothing's wrong with it mechanically wise.

Is that the one you're looking at?

I'd look for something else. You can get a better fun car for 10 grand.
