how many miles do our lancer need before it starts wearing down?

sinc emy car is gone, i want another lancer. i'm looking at cars with around 30-40k on them. at what "k" (in engine milage) is the car gonna need extra maintainance, and other stuff.

ps i want another cause i love posting here. and its so fun.

about 3 miles plus or minus .5 miles. i wouldnt go with a lancer with that many miles, they arent really known for their quality.

and if thats the case.

is there any way to help maintain my car???

cause i want to get at least 80k miles before i part with my engine or car.

Dont listen, there are plenty of Lancer owners on these boards who will attest to the quality of the Lancer. I swear, one person says the sky is falling and watch out......

mine has 33,000 and its still solid as the day i bought it. all ive done is change the oil regularly. ive also raced it regularly too!

ok cool, i think i'm gonna get the oz rally instead of an es. will i have trouble witht he tranny or clutch or whatever???

From: where my luck placed me
going on 28k and only thing i had to do was get new air filter and brake pads....other than that OK!!!
