Why don't you just use paint? I did my headlights with high temp low gloss paint and they turned out great. Just spray about 5-6 coats, with about 20 minutes between coats. Its one cheap mod that makes my car better looking

Just get high temp gloss black. Sorry to jack your thread Mike, but can someone give me a suggestion why my passenger headlight won't quit fogging.

done that three times already. I am tired of cleaning silicon out of the housing. Might buy a new one if I can't fix it and start from scratch.

I hope so too. My wife is getting tired of me turning the kitchen into a workshop.

Maybe yo should check the rubber housing around the sockets, make sure they arent cracked.

Here is a list of things that I have checked:
1. Checked all seals, seals look fine.
2. Check the rubber gasket around the headlight socket, that looks fine.
3. Before taking it apart the last time, I submerged the headlight in water, I couldn't see a leak.
4. I have checked, and double checked my work before putting everything back together, everything looks fine.

My next step is to call my local Mitsubishi dealership and see what they suggest. I am going to tell them why warrenty is expired and my headlight is leaking, not telling that it has been taken apart, and see what they recommend. They will probably want me to bring it in, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
