The recaro seats should fit. For the engine, it might fit but you have to consult a mechanic or shop to do a swap. Goodluck

you should be able to transfer MOST of the interior pieces with very little work. as far as drivetrain and suspension and whatnot .. probably not much will fit. you could probably snag the brembo's and try and fit them ..

hmm

brembos wont really fit either you need to swap to 5 lug on the front and rear and more then likely the splines inside the hub from the evo wont fit the oz's cv joints

like most said you can swap most of the interior..your best bet is to take that evo from your dads yard and build it up your self...work on the evo is so simple..take the spoiler. take the cam shafts. i like the valve covers. just try pulling things on and off.. take the front mount intercooler and bolt it up up to make it look like it is turboed. dude you can totally fake out the competition

thanks guys i appreciate the input but the reason y i didnt build up the EVO is due to insurance, the insurance on my Lancer is only 2200 and on a EVO it is 6200 i arready called,
and over the course of the day ive been thinking what about putting the EVO Head on my engine? or swapping the whole engine ? it has all engine mounts and for the brembo's im gonna try, but the wheels fit and thats a free upgrade woot ! and the recaro seats fit wonderful and fit wonderful im kinda partial to putting the 160 speedo and the 7k redline tach in there, i kinda want to either turbo my engine using the EVO turbo or rebuild my engine with all of EVO's internals and slap on the turbo, probably not possible but i love thinking about it. if anybody can answer these questions and help me out it would be greatly appreciated and TPM17 sry i am using the wing lol but other parts will be for sale on Ebay or if ur interested IM me on Rydeordie2841 and we could negotiate

Thanks in advance

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the wing! It may not improve performance, but depending on color (or you could paint it) it would look tight on your Lancer Slow-Z. Recap:

- Recaro seats
- rear seats (with a little cutting)
- Interior pieces (an extra set of plastics to paint)
- Dash trim
- Guage cluster
- Maybe radio and other dash parts
- Rear spoiler
- Shift knob/shifter
- See if any other parts fit (body kit parts, etc.)

and you can always sell the remaining parts and stuff you don't want to make some of your money back. As for making your car faster, short of the mysterious engine swap, the Evo can't be a donor for much.

Oh yeah, and I don't think any of the Evo internals will fit. They have completely different engines, the most obvious one being SOHC vs DOHC. I think the turbo might fit with the right parts and other hardware. Just don't try to go around running 19 pounds of boost!

Please don't install a FMIC on your car unless you plan on using it. There's no point in "faking out your competition" by making the car look faster than it is. The definition of a sleeper is a car that does not look fast but will blow the doors off of a Z06. That's almost as bad as those little whistles that make your car sound like it's TB'd when it really isn't

As for swapping the engine parts of the Evo onto the SOHC Lancer, that's a bit tricky. I think there's a thread somewhere explaining what can and can't be done but I'm too lazy right now to find it. I pretty much agree with what everyone else has said so far with swapping the Recaros and interior parts. You could also swap the Evo's shifter and brushed aluminum interior plating, the strut and tie bars should fit, and the wheels and tires from the Evo are defintely an improvement from the stock 15" Enkei's...umm, oops, I mean OZ's .

Good luck man!

edit- Sorry urbanknight, I didn't see your earlier post...oops!

Lancer412, the wheels won't fit. Lancer is 4 lug, Evo is 5 lug.
