us lancer turbo install

A friend of mine just got a hold of a turbo out of a 2nd gen eclipse. Now i dont know much about the engines of the eclipse so im not sure if they use the same type or setup of engine as the lancer but would it be very hard to install this onto my engine. He'll sell it to me for about 200 bucks so if it fits this would be a hella good deal.

thanx in advance to everyone who posts

you would need some piping, oil lines etc and a turbo manifold to mate it to your car as the two are very different.

what turbo is it? (is it a 16g, t-25 etc???) you may be able to use pre-fabbed parts for cheaper.

i would say non intercooled would be around 1900 or so.

good luck young padawan, i would never get myself into that mess tho. a guy i used to know with extensive car knowledge put that turbo on a N/A eclipse and blew that **** sky high. if ur gonna spend that much to get a ghetto rigg job done may as well get rrm non-intercooled, just IMO, good luck tho let us know how it goes.
