Just a few questions...

Hello,
I am new to the forums, so i didnt know where to post my questions. For a while now i have been considering buying a Mitsubishi Eclipse 95-99 Turbo. Mainly because it doesnt cost too much, and can be greatly modified into a show or race car.
I came across some pictures of the Lancer today and liked it quite a bit. It seemed larger, and more stylish than the eclipse. My question is, is it fairly modifiable? Body Kits? Engine? etc.... Does anyone know any nice Lancer sites, which have been modified?
One more thing.. What should i expect as a price for a used lancer in north america?

Thanks

Well yes, there's RoadRace but you've also got RMR www.rmrproducts.com and this handy little thread

http://www.lancerforums.com/forums/t1394.html

That's the basics right there so it should hold you for a bit. Don't expect to see a smattering of aftermarket parts due to, as stated above, the Lancer's rather short time on the market as of yet. Personally, if you want performance get yourself a nice 2G Eclipse in either the GS-T or GSX trim...but then, that's just me

Im sorry, but i think the 2G eclipse is a total downfall from the 2nd gen.... these have no real style... they are just one smooth bubble... hehe... The 2nd gen eclipse is beautiful, but i heard it has lotsa problems with the soft aloy in the rims.

Smooth bubble badass (at least in GSX and GS-T form) = 2G, or 2nd Gen.

The new one out now is the 3G, or 3rd Gen. I'll admit though, the allure of a V6 is nice. Concerning the wheels, heck if their soft, replace 'em anyway!
