Wow. So many people with so many opinions, and nobody with the common sense to consider, even for a second, that the other might be right.

I don't approve of the fighting, or the ****-throwing. I understand that some people got screwed. Accolade kits have had a horrible reputation on these boards since the first Lancer kits rolled out. I suppose the bottom line is to research before you buy. There are countless threads about how poorly Accolade kits fit, and how awful the finish is.

On the other hand, people are still selling this dreck. It's obvious that people aren't seeing Accolade, the producer, as being different from *yournamehere*, the vendor. It's not a vendors fault that the kit sucks, but it is the vendors responsibility to keep customers happy, and to deal with the producer about flaws.

I hope this thread gets closed. It's hasn't accomplished anything.

Strada , I said the thing I said becase some of your comments , to me , are just stupid. Quit blaming the shops. I was told , when my install was $2000 just for a Hackolade front and rear bumper w/ side skirts that , quoted from Diran Peters , "Your shop is trying to rip you off" Well , I saw every step of my installation and actually got a good deal for all the work that was done. Just stop making excuses for them. They suck at manufacturing and quaity control (if there is such a thing there) and I know that you don't directly work for Accolade , you are just their American spokesperson who defends them to the end. Sorry for the personal attacks bro , I just get sick of the customers being made to look like they are getting ripped off by their shop and BTW , my kit is less than 10 months old and is cracking badly. I honestly hate Accolade for selling me such ****. I could afford to have the custom work done but alot of people can't and I think they are wrong for selling their kits to people without good quality control testing fitment. Damn , look at all their pics on their site. I see gaps everywhere and this was installed by them. Maybe the problems they have are acceptable to them ??? Just seems wrong to me.

hey everyone.... look, i didnt read the whole thread...

everyone is writing their thesis in here but just wanted to put my $0.02 in.

I have only dealt with Accolade for a very short time and i have to tell you , i was very impressed.

Got my bumper quick...not scratches no damage NOTHING.
that was the 1st suprise, not since it is from them but just shipping bodykits are always getting damaged etc.
This was very good packing and shipped excellent.

So I get the bumper... bam, took off my stockie and threw on the Accolade bumper. PERFECT FIT!!! thats my 2nd surpise , since kits seldom fit right and usually require some work.

That **** was like a glove. Excellent fitment, the quality of it was kinda curious... not flimsy like fiberglass ... i could flex it like uerathane? anyways, im happy and just wanted to give my 2

DRC_Imports, you just said your kit is over 10 months old... since than Accolade has redid their kits.. They now have quality control and every kit is test fitted through U.S. distributors like JWERNER24

You have no experience on the new kits which are superior...so what relevance do your comments have other than hurting the reputation of the new partners of Accolade and their "new" kits... Just listen to what people have to say now..

I have hit 14 different speedbumps and 12 curbs and not one crack! with 4 people in the car. Just scratches on the bottom which u cant even see. This is some strong material. No negative comments to accolade great kit
Maybe this is not registering with you DRC.. but I have read alot of positive things now.. and I think you're stuck in the past.

No matter what you tell me you cant get a good job for $400. That leaves like 50/hour for 8 days. So basically that is 1 day to tear your old stuff off, fit the new stuff, prime the new stuff, paint the new stuff, clear coat the new stuff, and install the new stuff. How about blending it to factory color if its faded? It doesnt make sense.

It takes more than new kits to win back consumer confidence- the big question is what have they done for the customers they ripped off in the past? Left them out to dry with crap parts hanging off the car? If that kid rams 12 curbs I can see your target market.

well I used to own an Altima.. And had a full body kit from JT Autostyle.. I paid $325 for paint which was good paint PPG and JT installed the kit for $50. Than again I am located in California and Illizit is from Florida and so is designmanfx... Body shops in these states are import scene minded and know how to fit and paint for the best price.. not from Wisconsin like DRC is from where he paid $2000 for install alone. That wouldnt fly here at all because we would just take it to the next shop across the street.

well if I were Accolade I would do nothing for DRC since he has basically made it his duty to slander Accolade every opportunity he gets... seriously MP5 where do you go off calling people kids.. I think that is pretty damn insulting.

please listen.... you recieced the "new" kit because it was through Josh. And he has sold over a dozen of these kits and you are the ONLY one who is complaining, others said the kit was perfect... will you not even consider the fact that your body shop is asking too much.

Not even an issue. I was there every step of the way for this kit to fit. From the day it came, to the day it was lined up, to the day they fitted it, to the day it was sanded and primed....everything. The body shop is a good family friend. He knows what he is doing and he has done numerous kits. You refuse to look at the pictures and see how badly it does fit.

)StradaUSA I am asking you to make no further posts on this thread. Your replies are useless and irrelevant to the topic that my kit did not fit. You claim you do not work for accolade but that is debatable.

You are making this nothing but a flamefest. It is because of you that this thread gets shut down.

the normal going "rate" around the midwest area is about $800 to paint and install a full kit (stock paint, with no modifications whatsoever). now if the kit is poorly made, or needs a lot of work, it CAN exceed $1000 easily. like i said earlier its all getting ridiculous now. just post YOUR experience and thats that. none of this........
example: hey this kit was awesome..... good thing i bought it.
answer: yeah BUT no crash bar, and its not PFRPFFPRPRPF so in other words they suck. go with so and so

example: hey this kit sucks...... dont buy it
answer: uhhhhhh yeah that company rocks!!!! your just an idiot who paid to much for a bodyshop. buy it from so and so

thats how the anwers are coming out and its really not helping anyone.

That doesn't mean that he isn't having fitment problems. If you couldn't guess already we're keeping a close eye on this thread. Personally, I'm just amazed it's lasted this long.

EDIT: Oh, designmax...your kit was that yellow color because that's the base color of their HPP material. (Apparently it's a super plastic.)
