RRM TEST PIPE installed

yea that thang is awesome!! i have the magnaflow wide open cat back which sounded BEAUTIFUL before now sounds awesome with the test pipe! its about the same up till about 3800-4000rpms and then just opens up! its great soundin!! ive loving the lil kick it gave my car too. as soon as it opens up it really takes off.

also if i add headers, some kids say it messes it all up.. but the street race shop here said it wouldnt hurt at all..

BUT it will sound SWEEET and you will have a great top end. And i hear rrm headers dont affect low end that much.

i read that the down pipe gives you 1-2 horse and if you think about it its a good thing so that you wil still have some backpressure.

ya the test pipe is awesome and makes everything hella loud. Dont waste your time with the kamikazi headers, i woudl go with the RRM ones ...if your thinking about headers that is.

nope your stuck with it unless your one of those lucky ones that dont get it, you could get a mil eliminator

well rrm's headers look better, and if you decide to go turbo later on they're compatible with their kits

RRM header sale right now, $309!

Also he header/test pipe combo won't hurt it, many people on here have it.

nothing is wrong with them. Its jsut...if your planning on going turbo in the near future, then u should just go with RRM and not have to worry about it later when u go turbo. But if your planning to stay N/A then dont worry about it, there awesome then. haha

nah, no turbo for me. besides, i figure if i do ever save up 3k for a turbo and to have it installed, i could spare 300 extra for rrm headers

This has nothing to do with forced induction. Moving to USLG due to lack of technical content as well.

Only if you go RRM turbo.

There's nothing wrong with the Kamikaze header anymore. The downpipe clearance issues were fixed early on. You will probably throw a CEL, but it can be fixed with a simple MIL eleminator that will run you about $15 or less. It's basically a resistor pack.

Expect your exhaust note to change dramatically when you install the header. I'd anticipate loud, angry bees with the header, downpipe, test pipe, and cat-back. The test pipe muffles for **** (since it's not really intended to that shoudl come as no suprise), and the complete lack of cats is a no-no in my book. Hence my preference for high-flow cats (both the presence of SOME catalytic material and the muffling of SOME sound). If you don't like it, just pop off the test pipe and throw on a cat again.
