Got Myself a Strut Bar!

Just got my strut bar from RRM today. The install was reasonably easy, one of the bolts was really hard to get off. Hoping to test the bar out soon, once my intake arrives, which should be like tomorrow or thursday.

just single, figured the K wasn't worth the extra 40$ unless I was actually gonna do something to warrant the extra need for support, like rallying. Plus with the exchange rate it'd end up being 60$ cad more expensive.

K I finally got my intake. Can give a review on the strut bar and on the intake. Start with the strut bar since I've had more time to experience it. The car seems to handle itself better around corner and doesn't seem to want to slide as easily. All in all a worthwhile addition. The intake is great! Gives the car a real throaty, and deep sound once you get above like 3500rpm. Can definitely notice some more pickup as well. Hoping to get pictures of both tomorrow or Sunday. One thing to note about the intake is to be careful about the bolts holding the MAS to the stock box. I accidently stripped the 2 top ones so me and my buddy ending up having to take a dremel to the stock box, cutting enough room to maneuver a set of grips to hold onto the oval end of the bolt, and then using the socket wrench in its standard manner. We ended up making a 20min install take 4 hours with all the driving to and from peoples houses to get various parts for the dremel.

you should have bought a strut bar off rdd(pdxralliart), his quality is great and costs a lot less.

Congrats on the bar and intake. Those were some of my first mods as well. Both are good to start with. Now you need the exhaust and maybe header or piggyback.

K here's the pics. Yeah was thinking exhaust and headers next, at least as far as engine mods go. Probably get a sway bar as well once winters gone again.

The single tube bar seemed like enough for me. I doubt I'll even push the single one to its max, since theres not a lot of places to race or rally around here unfortunately.
