I heard some peole tell me that snow will eat through it, but I'm not sure! I know that I did get some damn rust spots though, but when I told people at work they all asked me if I was gonna take it off in the winter and I said no and they were like you might want to it'll mess it up epecially if your car is lowered it'll be a snow plow! But since, I'm moving back to NC in 2 weeks it won't matter because we don't get as much snow down there. So I'm not sure. I hope somebody can give you some actual info though. All I know is they said the snow will mess it up!

If you got a kit it'll get messed up. If you got a kit and your car is lowered... you wont be able to move.....

I'm hoping to do the same thing this winter. I drove around last winter with my car lowered and I was literally scooping up snow without a body kit. Now that I have one on, I'm gonna do my best to keep it in storage.

Buy a Festiva for the winter, they go for like $500.00 - 900.00 Canadian and they are cheap on insurance and gas. It is well worth it.

yeah just get a winter beater, there are PLENTY of cars u can find for under $1k that will make it through the winter, might not be the 'pimp' thing to do but hey...it will save ur lancer

i live in st louis to...and sometimes it gets ugly here, but im not to worried about it. last winter wasn't that snowy at all... im getting the 'walker' kit here in about a month...and wheels in about a month as well...im almost thinking about just leaving them in the garage and drive on the stock wheels etc til winter is over..but we'll see

I live in Wisconsin and have had kits on in the winter with no problem (and lowered too) with no problems. You just have to watch how you drive, that's all.

basically what blk02oz said. i didnt have any problems this past winter. you just have to be careful and watch how you drive. make sure to look for ice/snow chunks in the middle of the road. also, try not to drive in areas where the snow is deep. other than that you should be fine.
