Help with AAA please!!!

Ok heres the deal my car had 2 be towed due to mech probs and well i used AAA to have them do the towing.....The company tow express damaged my front lip and draged my rear end when we went over speed bumps and now the paint is melting over the exaust and it wasnt before well i emailed AAA and talked on phone and this is the reply i got :

Re: Investigation of Damage Complaint

Dear Ryan,

Thank you for your patience while we investigated the details surrounding the service rendered to your vehicle on Tuesday, October 8th, 2002 by Tow Express.

I did receive the photos of the alleged damages to your vehicle, however they are rather blurry. Based on what I saw at Kirmac's, there is not enough evidence to place responsibility on Tow Express. It is unfortunate that your vehicle incurred considerable damage when it went off the road following the initial contact you had with Tow Express. We are unable to determine what front end damage may have occurred from service rendered by Tow Express. Your claims of damage to the rear valance seem nothing more than typical wear and tear and appear to have been enhanced by an aftermarket exhaust tip that is larger than the stock exhaust. However, keep in mind that we will keep record of this incident in Tow Express's permanent file for future reference.

AAA Washington values its members and makes every effort to be fair in all investigations. As much as we sympathize with your situation we cannot hold Tow Express responsible for the damage to your vehicle.

You will soon receive a formal letter in the mail reflecting this communication by e-mail.

Sincerely,

Torrey S. Button

ERS Field Representative

AAA Washington

Now if you look at photos you can see the damage.....what should i do thats almost $600 in damage!!!

They're right about the pics being blurry. Aside from that how would you prove fault without before pics or something?

Just playing devil's advocate. Not trying to be a jerk.

I mean between the accident and the tow. Kinda a narrow window. If they're claiming it happened in the accident they're not gonna reinburse you.

Well when i get my pics developed from the acident you can obv tell the difference since the front end of my car from acident was totalled those photos should be enough to show the difference. my front bumper is in about 10diff pieces compared 2 how it is before. ask enginerboy he was there when it happened and his wife can attest 2 how screwed up car is now compared 2 then i mean i have pics like a few days before of car without scratches pics from tow truck and then pics from acident

they are being greedy, you should call them and talk to a higher rank person, then start yelling and cussing if they start giving you ****, I think you should go through the towing company and not AAA cuz its the towing companies fault

That should definitely help then. Not only that, but you might do better with a real letter or phone call. e-mail's extremely impersonal and I find companies tend not to take it seriously. Good luck.
