what about changing my gauges to amber. i'd really like everything to match that lovely service engine soon light! hahaha!
actually, i'm going to attempt the blue gauges this weekend, but leave the needles and the lcd red. the stereo idea is slick too, but i'm getting a new head unit soon--- yeah, right! i've been saying that for 3 1/2 years!
definitely doing it this sunday though... i'll let ya'll know how it went!

did the clock and HVAC in red, and it looks awesome. It all matches well with my JVC head unit which glows red numbers and a blue LCD screen, looks pretty sick at night. Now I need to finish the cig lighter and ashtray light and I'll be set

 

hey z_lancer_man....have you figured out a way to change the arrows when you signal, or any of those other lights?? (low gas gauge, cel, etc)

 

Hey whats up Zman.... Check it out, Im about to Buy the HVAC Controls (Is there anything I can do to have the heat show? or not??? I have an 02 Lancer... Oh and by the way.... Is there anyway I may be able to get your email adress or phone number. Id like to talk to you a bit more about getting the works, and totally switching over my gauge cluster... But I may end up going even more custom and changing EVERYTHING in my OZ cluster over to Auto Meter C2's... Not really sure yet on that though. I def want to set up the whole center console up blue though for right now.... GEt back soon...

I'm confused at what makes the needles change color, is it the tape itself that changes the color of the needles, or am I misssing something here?

I'm kinda confused on something too...
Z_Lancer_Man said to record the needles' positions after we remove the black needle stops, but I remember I read somewhere else that we record the position of the needles while the car's running (idling for the tach, etc.)
Can someone give me a clarification. Thanks!

 

Never mind, I got it. Didn't read about the part when we need to put the needles back on.
