Mods ? Need advice!!
I want to more modifications to my ES (auto). I did short ram air intake and tinted windows. If you go to my cardomain page, it shows what I have done: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/829623/2 . What should I do next? Please list some ideas! Thanx
Ditch the clamp on exhaust tip and ricey blue side markers.
After that, when you're ready to spend some money, get some wheels to replace those stockers. Keep the ones you've got for winter wheels...I know what it's like in your neck of the woods. If you wanna spend a bit less right away, head for RRM and pick up a catback.
While you're there, grab some springs and slam it!

I suggest blacking out your headlights, and maybe some eyelids for some inexpensive exterior stuff. For performance, I'd also have to go with what goon said, go to RRM and go with a catback.
not necessarily, most of the 02-03 parts fit 04's. only thing I know for sure will not work is a turbo kit for 02-03's, because 04's fuel system is returnless. but pretty much most of the performance mods for 02-03's should fit for 04's, considering what I've seen and read on these forums. obviously the things that won't fit are exterior parts.

^his car looks pretty much stock to me. why would you think its rice? just because of the blue sidemarkers? damn, i guess my car is rice too then, cause basically I have the same exact car, without the sidermarkers and decal on front.
Hell...if blue light bulbs are rice, Uncle Bens my buddy. Xexon hyper bulbs all around on my '03 Lancer. Not crappy painted blue bulbs from Peps. Any of you have aftermarket headlights with a blueish-tint...shame!!! Because blue ='s rice. Blah blah blah...ok, I'm done. If you think they look good at night...that's all that matters. Good luck.
if you get new rims and tires do that first before you buy some springs....i was gonna lower my car but when i put my 18's on it already looked lowered and if i lowered it, my wheels would rub in the wheel well when i turn
for the wheels, get 17s with 205/40/17 tires. when you run too low profile of tires it looks real ricey as well, and on top of that you will have to buy new tires more often.

ok, first, extremely low profile tires arent ricey, you see that on slabs and SUVs all the time and i dont consider those to be ricey. next, dont get springs, go with coilovers or something cause theres a thread on here asking whose shocks went bad with springs. i counted about 30 different people claiming that there shock went bad about a month or so after installing springs. you want looks, rims'll do it. performance, catback and so on. theres a couple threads on steps to take when upping your performance.
