Amp hook up

I just bought an 03 lancer oz and want to hook up a sub by myself. I haver never done this b4. I understand all about the electronics and wiring. I want to keep both my amp and sub in the trunk. But the problem is i dont know how i would run all the wires up too the front end. Any help is appeciated. U can just say were to run the wires through, or include pics.
Thanks,
Frank

The way I did was:

RCAs:
- I ran the RCAs from the headunit down the left side. Go under the dash from the stereo, the under the carpet to the driver kick panel. Go behind the kick pancel, then under the door sill, then under the piece that has the seat belt on it, then behind the rear door sill, then under the seat, then through the fold down back part of the seat. When you fold down the back seat, you will see a pop panel on both sides. Pop that off and there is a nice little space you can run the wires through.

Power and Remote Turn on:
-Power - From battery, to the back left of the firewall. There is a gromet there all ready. Go through there. Comes out behind the glove box. Take glove box out to see. Then run the same way as the RCAs through the passenger kick panel.
-Remote Turn on - From stereo, under the passenger dash, then down under the carpet, the through passenger kick panel, and follow the same route back as the drivers side.

What are you hooking to it? Subs? Speakers? Both?

my install was similar except i ran everything through the passengers side and i hooked the remote wire to a switch so i could turn the amp on and off with the flick of a switch(the power is straight from to battery to the switch then to the amp).

*offtopic* THunder, thats alot of power running thru a switch.. I'd be carefull.

My setup is somewhat close also, I cut an x into one of the gromets somewhere near the strearing wheel colum... fed the 4 gauge wire tru with a coat hanger. All the power wire + remote wire from the deck.. run allong the driver side... then my 3 x rca ( subout, front out, rear out ) run along the passenger side of the car.

only problem with running both rca and power supply wires is noise. if you turn ur radio all the way down and slowy rev the engine, it sounds like a high pitch is in the speakers due to the interference caused by the power sent to the speaker itself. your better off putting the rca on one side and power cables on the other
