06 es custom intake

Has anyone made a custom intake on a 06 automatic, i am wondering how it came out and if the battery has to be moved?

they are all the same when it comes to intakes.

i have an auto, i just put a MAF adapter on the stock tube with a steel mesh filter $60.

ouch!! thanks for the smack, not a noob with cars just this forum, i dont want to suck in the engine heat so i was looking for a way to get the intake down where the fog lights would go.

a CAI is very difficult on an auto, you will most likely have to move stuff around, i dont think you can go down where the battery is because of the auto transmission underneath

true, i guess i'll have to settle with a short ram and get a vented hood.

there isn't much between them, SRI or CAI either way or only gonna get you about 4hp. Its not worth the extra work and hassel to try and fab a CAI on your auto.

i get what you saying, what do you think of my car so far? got the windows tinted nite shades on the tails, and debadged! picture is kinda dark(it was a camera phone)

will do! This is my first import, i like them because the possibilities are endless with the visual and performance mods...as long as you have the $$$. i want to do some thing to make it a little faster, i know its not an evo so i cant get it fast like i would like, but still enjoy doing it!!(the wife hates it)

lol. you should save up for a turbo.
or you can be a volunteer to try out a quad throttlebody if you dont wanna void your warranty.
im gonna do that next year.
