The Auto Air control is very nice, first nob is temp, second is fan speed (set to auto) third is direction/output control (also set to auto). With all those on auto and the temperature set to whatever you want, it adjusts fan speed and output to cool the car as quick and efficient as possible. Very, very nice option. Being in florida where its been 92+ outside for the past few weeks its nice to just jump in and have all the fans work their *** off to cool me down and keep it there without any effort on my part lol.

Chino, i wanted those scuff guards but seeing as how i got my lancer straight off the boat and delivered to me on a flat bed, i skipped the dealer and didnt get any of those little extras (even wheel locks werent given to me X_x). so i gotta make a trip and go pick up some things.

Wicked, post pics of your leather once you get it done.. and does anyone know where i can get or have pics of some black/blue designs for these seats? like everyone else living in an "oven" state, i dont know if i really want leather but its so much better than the cloth that has to be constantly lint brushed.

 

I just got my final price for the two tone and perforated kit from Katzkin. The installed price is 1845.00, which seems reasonable, since the dealer wanted 1200 for just the plain leather. Mine will be two tone, graphite with dark blue inserts. The colors will look very close to the colors in the seats now. The pattern I chose has more pleats, which will help in cooling also. I am getting the perforation also, which is needed for the seat cooling fans. When all is done I will have a all the luxury of a 40K plus car for half the price. Now we are just figuring out in what location to put the switches for the heaters and coolers. I will post pics when everything is done , I just need to find the time to let them have the car for the day.

 

I have hook ups for getting my leather done, my friends dad owns shop that dose it...

And wicked, I know that for heated seats there already is a place for the rockers - look between your shifter and center console, and you'll see a depression in the plastic. Looks like something is supposed to go there. That something is the heated seat rocker switches.

 

I am thinking of keeping the cloth on the sides and putting blue in the middle

 

for those of you that have the aftermarket leathers, are the airbags in the seat still functional?

2008qts they offered you heated seats? do you have the number or info for the dealer, they are not offering anything like that here in tx and i would like to get some more info about it.

 

Post pics.. do you think leather is offered in Canada.. actually i wouldnt mind paying my neighbors a visit for leather LOL... especially with the dollar at 1.06.. funny how you guys are still getting the lancer alot cheaper then us

 

YOu should just be able to have any shop that does interiors and have them add heaters. I am having my shop do the heater ventilators when the leather is added. It is going to cost about 1100 for the leather and 400 for the heaters/ventilators.

The heated seats were offered but I did not get them... I got the leather seats for $900.00 and I think they wanter $300.00 more for the heated seats...

I forgot to mention that I got the leather from the Mitsubishi dealer here in MN where I got the lancer... The leather kit came from Mitsubishi but it was installed by an authorized vendor (I don't know who they are).
