Do the GTS have Traction Control of some form? when i start the car i see the light for it come on but then go off. So im wondering if maybe a reason it doesnt take off as much as id like is due to a traction controller being on?

In my 04 trailblazer there is a button to turn it on and off and the acceleration is considerablly different and greater with it off (allows more power to the tires if you slam on it since it isnt worrying about keeping traction). It just makes me wonder if there is some form of TC there.

 

No, not that I am aware of. The 'idiot' light may be there for future offerings or for the Ralliart/Evo models that are likely to have ECS/TCS

 

What light? I don't recall seeing anything that says TCS, but I'll check on my lunch...

 

Could you pinpoint where in the cluster and what color it is to help out the other '08 owners...
