Well... i am new here.. i bought a Lancer GLS (it is like the GS in the US MArket).
i love the idea to paint the middle of the Bumper.. but in my car there is a Chrome Trim.... so.. it will be very dificult.....
any ideas ??

well... i have not the car yet.. i will have it in 5 days... i am pretty exited...

thats why i am asking a lot of things...

It shouldn't be difficult at all: some painters tape and patience should do it...post the pis when you're finished

what a about the Chrome Trim ???
can i get some of that to put in the rest of the line----

I can't stand the chrome trim and to buy the DE trim is too expensive

why dont you just vinyl the bumper and grill. what if you wanted to put everything back to stock, vinyl you just peel off, paint....good luck
I'll post a pic of mine in vinyl

I painted mine.... sanded it, primed it, a lot of of black and clear coats...came out great

yeah post some pics when you can...Im going the vinyl route for that same reason, not to mention I don't wanna be having it painted everytime it chips.

dont they make a CF looking vinyl you can stick on there? thats what id do

I haven't got it but I would be interested in finding if any company makes a pre cut vinyl sheet for the lancer bumpers.

hey wazzuuuup where did you get the vinyl from and for how much? I'm getting the same thing done and could use a few pointers.

you want the flat black vinyl, hard to find but i got my buddy the deals with the stuff, you'll probably be looking at $30 for approx. 2 by 4 piece, let me know if you want it cause it would take me a couple days to get it
