Just a few screws that all. If you cover it with vinyl then if you mess up or want to change it you just take it off. I got a 15''x 6' roll for like $25 and it should do the whole thing plus it is garenteed for 6 years. If i dont like the way it looks i will just peel it off. Plus you can use it for other trim down the road too if you like.

The only concern I have is if the vinyl starts to harden up to the point that when you go to remove it, you'll have a hell of a time taking it piece by piece.

I remember I had a vinyl decal across my rear window, for a good 3-4 years, when I finally wanted to get rid of it, it was a ***** to peel off. The only way it came off was with a scraper on my window, not too mention the vinyl was good quality.

You know i did think about that happening but in all my experience with vinyl it hasent happend. If i really do like it and think i will keep it then i might go ahead and paint it later down the road. I really am going to try to not only do the middle part and the crome piece but also the bottom like the evo beacuse i like that style. So i will see how it looks and then take a few pics and then see what you all think. I also was going to lightly tint the front lights as well light smoke color.

I also took the pic from the bottom of the page and photoshoped the bottom piece being blacked out as well so tell me if you like it compared to the other one.

the grille trim I might have painted with a low gloss, I don't wanna bother using vinyl there, but the middle of the bumper I'll try vinyl for now and see how it looks, then maybe down the road have it painted.

you can't win...vinyl might harden up and having it painted will risk getting stone chips. lol

OK Lancer fans.... here are the pre-cut EVO X vinyl 3 piece front bumper covers on sale now on ebay....... looks to me to be pretty expensive 69.00 for them but this means you dont have to cut them yourself!! If you buy one let us know how it goes!!

i might as well start selling this on ebay $69 ???? i'd make a fortune.
never would i pay $69 for that, besides if it is pre cut exactly to size, good luck installing it perfectly, odds are its oversized a little and still needs to be trimed
...who knows though, will have to find out...let us know

Looks pretty sweet. How much did all that vinyl cost, and how long did the installation take?
