Go to mitsubishipartspeople.com
They sell many original parts for a hell of a lot cheaper. I've bought the side sill extensions and the front air dam from them. The Navi is about $2500 including the instalation kit.

GPS/Navi kit

Hello everyone!

I Bought my GTS (with Sun&Sound) about 4 month ago. The thing is that here in Canada , the S&S package only includes the sunroof and rockford fosgate system BUT NO GPS/NAVI/DVD. We have a kind of plastic cover where the Mitsubishi DVD goes out...

So i was just wondering... since the GPS/NAVI is gona be available here in Canada in a few month... Can i just go and ask them for an "upgrade" ? Like buy it seperately and have them install it...

Or is there any GPS/Navi kit being developed for this car by any chance?

Thanks - Alex

Your local dealer can special order the nav unit for you, but it will be expensive, think about approx $4,000CDN.

There should be aftermarket headunit coming out in the near future.

oh.. and btw

Now i have the Rockford fosgate 6cd changer/radio system... If i buy the Navi kit , does that mean that i will have to remove my beloved 6cd changer in order to install the navi? or u can have both simultanuously?

You'll have to remove it. The nav only allows one cd, as far as I know.

yeah, they have to remove the six disc changer, but the navi system has a (correct me if i'm wrong) 30 gig hard drive for you to put mp3s and stuff.

it'd be nice to have, but at over $4,000 CDN for it, i don't know..

Ohh..well... if i get that Navi kit i'll just try to sell my 6-cd changer i guess..its not worth alot tho (not sure but i think its around 400 $ brand new)

and yeah , i agree with you on the price , im never getting it for $ 4000 CDN , its insanely expensive (but thats what our dealers here charge us for it..)

so i think i'll just get it on www.mitsubishipartspeople.com (for around $2500 US) as fuz_dnz said + now its really cool since the CDN $ = US $

not sure if they ship to canada tho.. but we'll see how it goes
